In Vietnam, currently cars, especially those belonging to transport enterprises, are required to have GSHT equipment when they are registered. This is also one of the next steps towards the future to meet the public transport management needs that Vietnam is aiming for.
The compulsory vehicles with GSHT equipment are:
- All passenger transport business vehicles on the fixed route with a distance of 500 km or more.
- Vehicles transporting tourists.
- Cars transporting goods by containers.
- Trucks transporting goods of over 10 tons.
More specifically according to the latest information: According to Decree No. 86/2014 / ND-CP dated September 10, 2014 on "Business and conditions for transport business by auto". According to Clause 3, Article 14 of the Decree, from July 1, 2015, more cars will be required to be fitted with the Ministry of Transport's standard GSHT equipment, details are as follows:
The draft proposal comes before July 1, 2015, all taxis must be fitted with GSHT equipment in compliance with the Ministry of Transport.
Before January 1, 2016, on tractors, cars transporting goods with a design payload of 10 tons or more must be fitted with GSHT equipment of vehicles.
By July 1, 2016 cars of freight transport with designs from 07 tons to less than 10 tons will have to be fitted with GSHT vehicle equipment.
Before January 1, 2017, on cars transporting goods, with a design payload of 3.5 tons or more, it must be fitted with GSHT equipment.
GSHT equipment of the vehicle must ensure the following requirements: Storage and transmission of information: itinerary, speed, number of times and stopping time, closing or opening the car door, continuous driving time, driving time Car in 24 hours of each driver. 1. In case of signal loss
- Cause 1: The device is not supplied with a power source, possibly due to a disconnection
from battery power or battery out of power.
Solution: recharge the battery or replay the power supply to the GSHT device.
- Cause 2: Because the car is parked under the corrugated iron roof and basement.
Solution: take the car out of the basement and corrugated iron roof and check the signal, because it's a weak area

- Cause 3: Due to SIM or SIM out of money error.

- Cause: The application is being repaired or upgraded because the version is too old or due to login error with the username / password more than 5 times.
